Turku Cathedral is part of the Turku and Kaarina Parish Union. The Dean of the Cathedral makes the final decisions regarding the use of the church. Technical building matters are handled by the Head Verger. Concert bookings are made through the Main Cantor of the Turku Cathedral Parish. Museum-related matters are managed by the Curator and the Cultural Heritage Specialist.

The Cathedral grounds

The area of Turku Cathedral extends to the chain fence surrounding the Unikankare hill. Cathedral Square is administered by the City of Turku; the parishes do not decide on events held in the square.
