A traditional medieval event in Turku. This time, the programme and guided tours (also available in English) will take place in Brahe Park due to the renovation of Turku Cathedral.
On the weekend after Midsummer, the traditional Medieval Turku city event is celebrated in Turku. Turku Cathedral is also closely involved in the medieval festivities. This year as well, the Cathedral Parish is contributing to the Medieval Turku programme, but as the cathedral is closed due to renovation work, the programme will take place outside the church. Welcome to the guided tours, devotional services, and Saturday’s knightly review!
The Medieval Turku city event is organized in cooperation by Turun Suurtorin Keskiaika ry, the Aboa Vetus Ars Nova Museum, Turku Castle, Rohan Stables, and the Turku Cathedral Parish (Turku and Kaarina Parish Union). Read more about the full event at keskiajanturku.fi.
